A tornado hits Greene County TN on April 27 2011.
Greene County was devastated.
It has never ceased to amaze me how a tornado can move from one house to another all the while skipping over others, as you can see in all the pictures out there of this dreadful night .
This brought family, friends, neighbors and strangers in our county together and closer than ever before.
ALL the emergency personnel in our county were involved in one way or another in helping the people of our county.
This is still not over for most of us that live in the area.
From mourning the loss of loved ones we will never see again, to healing from the wounds of that night.
Even if the houses are fixed and things are starting to look normal again there is still that deep seated fear everytime that thunder starts to roll and the lightning lights up the sky. For some, it will be a long time healing.

@CaptainSharts69 Just shut the HELL up. People's family members died, entire lives destroyed by tornadoes. It's hard to get over peoples deaths and homes destroyed. You obviously never had that happen to you so you have no right in saying anything unless you understand, and clearly you don't. Shutup.

Storms are interesting to watch. I hope every chaser who hoots and yells remembers that people can lose all they have. Your home is your safe place. How do you get over the fear when its not? At the end of the day this is what can happen. Very very sorry for anyone involved.

@CatpurrRobertaBobbi, I appreciate your sincerity. It is very hard when storms come through not to want to panic now. Your also very correct in your assessment of the storm chasers.
