Perspective Drawing that goes beyond one, two, three point perspective. This four point perspective, a curved line perspective, uses Termes' grid system to make the teaching of perspective much easier. This leads to the logic of the Termesphere, which are Termes' spherical painting and it also connects perspective to the Math people or Math/Art. This four point panoramic drawing is seen from the beginning to the end which is a cylindrical 360 degree drawing. The grids for this system of perspective and all the other are found in Termes' book called NEW PERSPECTIVE SYSTEMS, SEEING THE TOTAL PICTURE. http://www.Termespheres.com.

  • ExperimentLife, good for you.

  • It does seem logical to me that this is a good system to capture 360 degree pictures. It is fun to play with different systems....Give it a try.

  • If you count the points along the horizon you will find a north, east, south, west and back to north point.....That is four without the up and down lines which don't go to points.

  • Guess you would have to wrap the person all the way around you to have them in this four point perspective.....right?

  • One and Two point perspective is fine if you just want 90degrees of your world around you but if you want to capture 360 you have to go to at least continuous four point. It doesn't come off cartoon like unless that is how you draw. Curved lines are important and necessary when you are trying to get a larger view.

  • To do a octagonal room probably you add a point in the middle of each of these points....give it a try.

  • I was doing this when I was 8 , that was 9 years ago.

  • The Real INTERESTING thing I like to point out is you realize that is that at least 1000's of people out there have eyes..but stiLL NOBODY notices that when they look at a flat wall it actually appears curved to them..they're just looking at such a small section of the large curve at any one time that they never notice it!

Hopefully they'll catch on a teach a bit of this in schools because Even if you don't Use it it Definitely helps you understand when a 3 point drawing is going wacky

  • DAMN! ..i thought i'd write a book someday showing the EXACT same thing..ugh ..it's either if you're not moving ahead you're standing still..ooor..you snooze you lose i guess : ) lol

yeah I noticed i had a TON of trouble getting the TEACHERS in school to get this!..but the students picked it up pretty quick.

  • this is really confusing T_T

  • It is still only 3 point perspective, because you don't have perspective on the vertical lines. They are just parallel.

  • Wonderful. Great job, sir.

  • this guy draws with chicken scratch lines.. lol..
