@dalecrippen: Even the RAF would've fallen(as it almost did) if the German high command hadn't switched to bombing London and other cities, and these FACTS are all that saved Britain period, for if they were on the mainland of Europe, they would've fallen just like France did, and I am as sure of that as I am that on a clear sunny day the sky is blue. Why am i so sure? I know the history, I have heard the reports, I have heard people who WERE THERE.

@dalecrippen: The English are a brave and tenacious people to be sure, but the fact is, speaking of WWII, is that if it weren't for the English Channel, Hitler's armies would've rolled the British up like a pair of socks, and that is coming from someone who DOES know history. After Dunkirk, the British had little more than infantry rifles to stop the Germans if they had invaded, for they lost most of their equipment in France.

@dalecrippen: We STILL would've won the war though, even if we had to invade Japan, and one good reason that we licked the Japanese, is because they couldn't seem to get it through their heads that charging into machine guns yelling BANZAI is NOT a logically sound military tactic. Lol. Oh and the Germans didn't build the bomb for us, we beat THEM to it, and everyone else for that matter. No offense but, where did you learn your history?

@dalecrippen: Despite the USA's MANY flaws, it is STILL the best country to live in IN THE WORLD, and if not the best, at least ONE of the best. Go try and say something bad about Iran IN Iran like what you just said about America and see what happens. Well, we wouldn't be hearing from dalecrippin anymore that's for sure, and just to set the record straight about your "speaking Japanese" comment, the Japanese were already beaten, we just used the bomb to save AMERICAN lives and end the war.
