On Tuesday, June 14, 2011, Senator Marco Rubio delivered his maiden speech on the floor of the United States Senate. Focusing on themes of "The New American Century," Senator Rubio celebrated the "American miracle" that allows so many to achieve their dreams and resolved that we all continue to fight for America's role as a shining city on a hill.

At a time where nearly all politicians democrat or republican, speak with empty words and promises, I find hope in Senator Rubio's words. Unjaded by years, in an enviroment that ALWAYS takes its toll, he is an inspiration. I pray with all I have that he is guided by all that is good and that all good things come to him. Thank you for giving me hope that there are still capable leaders out there!
