  • "I am counting on the lack of memory." =)

    He is amazing.

  • Good video. His ability to improvise really does illustrate how important it is to develop relative pitch, and play by ear, not by manuscript. Only then can you really communicate with music, and become inventive.

  • The best improviser with Gabriella Montero!!

When you can improvise in the style of Bach like him from 3.04 and after that in the

jazz style , nothing is impossible!!

  • It started so dark then just took this grand turn in motion. Unbelievable.

So just to understand correctly, the composition is based on the 4 notes, but not strictly limited to them?

  • I wonder if people used to confuse him for Eno back in the 70s.

  • how the fuck??? ....come and teach at the New Zealand school of music:)

  • The narrow interval between the Bb and the A is what makes it all interesting to my ears. Mike is a amazing!

  • fuuuuuuuuuu

  • wow this is amazing :D

  • he's the man..

  • I want to see him go mad!

  • he goes into some pretty intense counterpoint
