its a shame that its in rough shape, but since its running well with 367K miles, Mercedes-Benz did something right! I saw a 300D like this on Autotrader with 151K (which is nothing) and in mint condition at a Mercedes dealer in Reading, PA and it brought me here. Its old, but STILL so appealing in the shape that its in!

Great car and one of the most over engineered cars. I got one as my fist car. It was a 82 300SD turbo with 390k miles that my grandfather got new in 82 and was garage kept or under a car cover when ever parked. He drove it across the county for 15 years and always kept it well maintained. The only parts replaced were normal wear items. I got it when he wasn't able to drive and it drove like new and never let me down. BTW I still have the car in storage with 436,000+ miles and still going strong.

I am looking at a 1978 right now that is in such pristine condition even the AC still works and the interior is literally spotless; thank you so much for sharing this video because I am a young driver and I do not know much about cars outside working in the town garage. Now that I've seen more about the car I can go to the dealer with intelligent questions.
