Storyline|
It has been many years since Galaxia and the senshi have finally settled down, even settling enough for the peace to come and for Crystal Tokyo to be rebuilt. At one of the parties the Starlights return to enjoy the festivities with their Princess, yet one of their team is bored of the music and glam so she wonders out onto the balcony. She is over taken by awe and amazement when she comes face to face with a beautiful young woman in a black dress and finds herself attracted to the womans mysterious nature, and despite how much their talk the young woman tells the other nothing about herself. The two enjoy their time together despite this little snitch, soon departing ways when the ball comes to an end. Seiya, unable to get the young woman out of her mind she set out to find her, following the womans ki towards a comfy looking house just outside the Palace. As she approaches the gates she finds herself confronted by a shocking sight, Haruka and Michiru. The two of them had noticed their adoptive daughter dancing with Seiya and warn Seiya way from Hotaru, and Seiya at first takes the warning and starts to walk away.

Hotaru though had been watching, and rushed out after her parents go inside to stop Seiya. The two of them spend that night together at the local park, finally giving into their feelings but promise to keep it secret knowing too well that even though the Outers have accepted the Starlights presence in the Sol System, they would not approve of the relationship forming between Hotaru and Seiya. These secret meetings continue, until one day Hotaru decides she needs to shed her old life of being the Outers baby girl and cuts her hair (a tradition normally done when someone moved on with their life). The young eighteen year old rushes to the palace gardens to once again met with Seiya, but this time they are interrupted by Neptune and Uranus as they tell them their love cant be. Hotaru and Seiya henshin to defend themselves, and quickly teleport away. Though their little get away is brought to an end with Haruka finds them and tells Seiya the secrets of Hotaru, of her past and tells her to stay away from Hotaru. Seiya leaves like she is told to, but is a little smug. Hotaru in the mean time awakens and finds her heart broken and tries to rush after Seiya, but she cant catch up.

Hotaru now tries her hardest to meet with Seiya, sending her letters to tell her what is going on and she is happy to get some in return. Hearing though that a Three Lights concert is going on in Crystal Tokyo, Hotaru goes with Chibiusa and Usagi in hope of seeing Seiya. And she does, but is stopped by security. Seiya thinks about tell them to let her through, until she hears Harukas voice from the seats not far from where she is and she continues on. On her way home Hotaru is stopped by her adoptive parents who tell her how she should feel about Seiya, that this crush will soon end and shell be heart broken. Part of her does not want to believe this but part of her thinks they are right, after all who would want her?

Seiya receiving another letter, this one telling of what happened on that day and now she is questioning their love. Seiya is angered by this, sick and tired of the Outers trying to keep them apart so she finally snaps and goes to their meeting spot. When she arrives she finds Hotaru sleeping on the ground, clearly she had been waiting like she had done every other night. The young woman dreaming of her past few days of walking the streets and having Seiya on her mind, she suddenly awakes when she hears someone around her and Seiya approaches. Hotaru tells Seiya everything, how she feels and what she thinks and all that. Seiya is shocked and kneels down and gives her a promise ring, promising that once she has gotten approval from Kakyuu she would marry her. Hotaru is shocked and tells her she would love to marry her and the two commit to each a promise.

In the anime they did, the Outers rescued the Starlights and Usagi after the Inners were killed. Before the Outers left Saturn turned to Fighter and asked if she believed in the Princess, Fighter said she did and so Saturn asked her to keep believing in her. Then they met again when her and Pluto were fading. In the manga they didn't. As I said this was based on a roleplay which is based in Crystal Tokyo, over a thousand years after the last season.

In my humble opinion Usagi and Seiya are more believable...

They probably are but I wanted to make this amv. ^^ I rarely do "canon fan-couples", I'm not a huge UsagixSeiya fan. I prefer them over UsagixMamoru but not enough to make an amv for them, I also like amvs that give me a challenge. ^^
