  • Maya is now two, and she describes herself as loquacious. I'm not advocating any product. I'm sharing a video with friends and family. While there are valid arguments against TV, Baby Einstein, and giving babies whiskey, please take any condenscending, self-righteous commentary to another village.

  • Wikipedia explains what your child's doing in response to the TV in its "Baby Einstein" article - it's not learning and it's not good.

Being with you - that's when your child learns!

  • YouTube doesn't allow links but check out Wikipedia's article on "Baby Einstein"...

    Turn off the TV, parents!

  • Calm the fuck down!

It's her baby and this was LONG ago.

What her baby has to be outside doing something 24/7? THE BABY CAN'T DO MUCH.

Fucking Youtubers calm the fuck down she's not drowning her.

  • That's so adorable!! She has the sweetest little face ever!

  • some of yall are f*ing idiots! maya is beautiful!! and obviously not stuck in front of a tv all the time!! my 7 month old watches baby einstein when i get out of class in the afternoon.. he is perfectly fine and tries to say the names of things when i say them to him.. he loves it!! so yall stupid people just shut up and go bug someone else.. pa-leez!!!

  • This is so cute! I had a video of my niece up, but after 200,000 views and a whole lot of people who thought they knew something about children posting hurtful comments I took it down... not because I believe them, but simply because i was sick or reading the comments.

People... watch the video and appreciate that it is cute. If you think people actually care what you have to say about children then write a book or start a website, but stop spending hours on YouTube wishing someone cared.

  • Sadly, the American Academy of Pediatrics would not approve of what's happening here, as well intentioned as I'm sure it must have been.

They recommend that children under the age of 2 should not watch TV at all. Baby Einstein makes false claims and parents should be extremely wary of "educational" products aimed at babies.

Disney, the producers of B.E. are not interested in Maya's wellbeing - they just want your money.

    Seems they got it.
