goodness, i was expecting Thom to break into "drunken" tears any minute. amazing, what a performer! it's a shame he's never done any acting (apart from rh music videos), i think he'd be really great at it.

If it's true that he wrote the song about a girl he used to like when he was in college, it must be really weird to sing this song like twenty years later, and wondering what will have happened with her life

Wow! I really enjoyed this video, I loved the reaction of the boy who was in front of you putting his hands in his head like saying: "I can't belive this is happening"
And I loved the loooooong run, because it proves that when Thom sings this song (and many old songs), he really takes the piss, but if he wants he can sing perfectly live (I wish he wanted)
I've watched the whole show and it was AMAZING, lucky you!
And by the way, I think he takes the piss, but anyway he looks REALLY drunk

Also the original lyrics are "you're so Fucking special" thome was offended that he had to sensor the song, due to the fact that It added a sense of anger and frustration to the song.

What a treat, i wish i would have been able to see that, Thome wrote the song when he was drunk, and following a beautiful girl around his college campus, this is the most beautiful depiction of the songs raw meaning i have ever seen
