Fue una manera de decir, de hacer risa como.trata de artificialmente oscurecer la voz.
Soy fan de varias contraltos; Ewa Podles, Nathalie Stutzmann, etc.

@necrogoddess en el caso de Brightman por lo que percibo con esta interpretación y su lucia de lammermor es una voz grande esas voces requieren de otro tipo de técnica hay sopranos que tienen un sonido abierto y dicen la a como a.. pero en la opera y mas en las voces grandes o dramaticas se les pone la a como o y así.. el sonido tiene que ser redondo y vibrado.. lo único que puedo criticar es que le me esta metiendo demasiado peso para ser bel canto y tiene pésima dicción pero fea voz no.

@MastersoftheOpera I completely agree. She never tries to be a pure opera singer. She has always been a crossover styled singer who has the operatic voice styling although not the complete training of one. Her voice is nonetheless beautiful.

Even if she darkened her voice to sound like a contralto...the voice is small, could never sing verismo without a microphone crancked all the way up.
