Richard Tandy, keyboardist with the Electric Light Orchestra and Dave Morgan,ELO touring member from 1981 - 1986, teamed up to record the album together titled Earthreise. This is Zero Zero, track 7 when re-released with a changed track listing in 1992.

I picked up a cassette of this album in a bargain bin about 15 years ago. Since then I purchased it on CD and LP. An excellent low-fi piece of science fiction beauty!

That's the way things were in the 80's. technology i.e. drum machines and thier manipulation made things a hell of a lot easier during the studio recording process.

LOL, i'm not really sure how to assess this album myself. Its one those that doesn't sound particularly outstanding as a whole, but most of the tunes or musicianship stick in your head and irritate (in a good way)the life out of you. I'll post at least 2 others in good time.

By adding &fmt=18 to the end of the url will give you the opportunity to listen to the track in HQ audio. This will help to appreciate Richard Tandy's keyboard skills at least.
