I picked up a cassette of this album in a bargain bin about 15 years ago. Since then I purchased it on CD and LP. An excellent low-fi piece of science fiction beauty!

First time I've heard anything by Tandy Morgan Band and I have to say I'm impressed! You should post more songs from the Earthrise album if they are this good.

Sounds pretty good. The lyrics sound alright.. What instrument(s) does Dave Morgan play ?

That's the way things were in the 80's. technology i.e. drum machines and thier manipulation made things a hell of a lot easier during the studio recording process.

LOL, i'm not really sure how to assess this album myself. Its one those that doesn't sound particularly outstanding as a whole, but most of the tunes or musicianship stick in your head and irritate (in a good way)the life out of you. I'll post at least 2 others in good time.

By adding &fmt=18 to the end of the url will give you the opportunity to listen to the track in HQ audio. This will help to appreciate Richard Tandy's keyboard skills at least.
