Psoriatic arthritis, is an inflammatory form of arthritis associated with psoriasis and includes many manifestations such as skin psoriasis, nail lesions, dactylitis, and enthesitis. Symptoms include pain, swelling and redness over the affected joints.

  • So, tell me how a butter cream works within the human body to stop joint inflamation. This video is about joints effected by psoriasis not the skin it self.

  • When I was 14, my pediatrician said my joint pain was "growing pains". Soon after that I saw a rheumatologist and it is psoriatic arthritis. Now I'm 23, and my life is like hell. Going to a new doctor next week in hopes of help!

  • i am 54 my palm itched so bad and had two big swollen joints on my right thumb and middle finger is huge and deformed. I start to sratch my palm and a hole formed and water wept out. Then I had the psoriasis in my right ear and water poured out and it itched tremendously.I alo lost my balance.

  • Hi, my name is Adriana, just found out my 8 year old has psoriatic arthitis, hes in so much pain all the time, specially at night.. i don't know what to do...see him in so much pain and not able to do much for him. Hes on a 500mg pill now twice a day,wish some day he can be pain free.. : (

  • @telva05 Methotrexate is a powerful drug and used to treat some forms of cancer, make sure you follow to the letter what you chemist or doctor tells you, be aware that if you are on Methotrexate you wont be able to take some types of anti inflammatory drugs.

  • My Doc was well on the ball, i went to see him about a new script for my Psoriasis as i had a new attack after being clear for a few years, i mentioned id been getting lots of pain in my joints, he looked at my fingernails, gave me a telling off for not saying anything about my fingers & toes being deformed sooner, then said i had chronic Psoriatic Arthritis. I had loads of tests & been told i have the less common deforming type, i am on so many meds my medical cabinet looks like a chemist shop

  • I was just diagnosed with psoriatic Arthritis,,,,i put up with this pain for 1 yr and was on many different anti inflamminatory ,,,,i have a job where i am on my feet alot and i just couldnt walk anymore,,,,i went to my doctor again and finally got the diagnosis, ,,,but first have to have blood work & xrays done and once they get the results will start me on the treatment called Methotrexate....this is suppose to cure the inflammation and cure my psoriasis...thank god
