THIS explains EVERYTHING.

Ii immpossible for those two entities to exist together, if a force was truly unstoppable it could move any object, and if an object is truly immovable it would stop that force.

(Continued) "There would be an endless transfer of energy. The two would appear as if they are resting, but are actually transferring their infinite energies from one to the other. Equilibrium or a relation would never be establieshed since we're dealing in the infinite regarding energy"
-
this is a good way to put the paradox. "The correct set-up would be "What would happen if an immovable object were confronted with an unstoppable force. We will have to further define out unstoppable force as having infinite momemtum (right?) and the immovable object having infinite inertia (right.) Therefore, our unstoppable force would have an infinite energy (measure this in joules/calories/whatever) and the unstoppable force would be able to absorb infinite energy."

LOL! try a very hard metal i'm sure that block would disintegrate within seconds.

Burnt on cheese!

Wasn't as unstoppable as they thought.
-
@papare33 And it defeats the purpose of both. The purpose of an unstoppable force is to cause a physical affect on an object same with an Immovable object. If they past through eachother it's either science fiction or you don't know the answer.

@MegaHalo3ODST is correct.
All you others are idiots.
Really interesting but.... What would happen if an immovable sandwich met an unstoppable fat guy?
