9/11: WTC-1 antenna tilting

Larry Silverstein said that the North Tower's antenna sliced through WTC-7's (south) facade.

This video shows the antenna tipping over towards East, maybe Southeast, definitely AWAY from WTC-7.


Using Google Earth, I've now determined the location of the two prominent buildings in the center foreground. The one right of center is the AT&T building, located at the intersection Church Street / Thomas Street. The building to the left (name unknown by me) is right next to the south of the AT&T, at the center of a block enclosed by Church St, Thomas St, Broadway and Duane Street.

That's 7 to 8 blocks East-Northeast of the Tower, and places the camera at almost exactly 55 degrees East-Northeast (if North = 0 deg and East = 90 deg).

I can't say for sure if we can see WTC-7 between the buildings or if that's part of the unnamed building on the left. Google Earth view would indicate a gap between the two buildings in the line of sight, and the profile with the darker windows at the top would fit WTC-7 perfectly. I'll let you decide.
