I go through a few of the patches I use to play early 80's new wave covers..."How Soon Is Now" by The Smiths, "Sanctuary" by The Cult, "Let's Dance" by David Bowie, "Enjoy The Silence" by Depeche Mode, "Video Killed The Radio Star" by The Buggles, and "Hungry Like The Wolf" by Duran Duran.
I play in an 80's new wave cover band in Austin , Tx...called The Fatal Attractions

  • I'm in an 80s band out here in Vegas, great tones, nice intro on Video Killed....

  • @littletone

    Rock on,

    Scott.

  • I agree that the RC Booster just adds "something." Great pedal. I'm trying to decide which direction I ant to go with my rig and I seem to keep coming back to the G System.

  • @TheGuitarSuite

I have since switched to the Nova Drive, and it gives me everything I got from all three Xotic pedals and then some.

    Take care,

    Scott.

  • Gotta love the Ryan Reynolds "Good times" at the end!!!

  • @Kozmonot91

I got that from Adam Corolla, along with my bitter hatred of left turn arrows.

  • Sorry ..... but now way BOSS or Line 6 even comes close to the G System or Nova System for that matter. I have both and have had BOSS units, X3 Live & Flextone XL III. Boss and Line 6 suck! I use the G System with a JVM410H and the sounds are simply superb!!! Nothing else like it in that price range!

  • I love 80s !!!!

  • @sminchk67 ...Yeah, this thing definitely is killer! The cool thing, too, is that you can run outside pedal units through it! So the variations in tone are limitless, really! What a gorgeous unit!

  • @sminchk67 Wow, I'm going to have to check it out then cuz the RC Boost is one the best pedals I've used.

  • @Kozmonot91

I think it was Van Wilder....just like you said it!!! sweet!

    Adam too...;-)
