Just watched "An Unmarried Women" for the 1st time all the way through. Never new of him, but was so impressed had to "Google" him afterwards. No doubt one of the most handsome actors since day one. Sad to know he is no longer with us. What a history of movies.

What a beautiful man Alan Bates was.....as the previous comment says magnetic! He was a fine actor and brilliant at the end of his career in Love In A Cold Climate...simply magic....great tribute. Thank you for sharing this with us.
