Greetings. This message is intended to determine if we, humans, would like to see the internet be the means to developing a planet-wide civilization based on the practice of collective intelligence in cyberspace. The following is our message:

The Internet is developing into the unmediated presence of humanity to itself since every possible culture, discipline and passion is therein woven together.

Many of us already take part in the online exchange of ideas, information and services. We engage in dialogue in virtual communities housed by mobile networks which are continually being reconfigured.

We are living through the time in which they will say the internet came to be.

No reference, authority, dogma or certitude will remain unchallenged by the future which awaits us with regards to the internet.

The reality in which we inhabit is simply a collective creation by all. This has always been the case, however, the internet renders it so evident that it can no longer be ignored by even those with the highest level of ignorance. Now is the time for responsibility and creation.

The very fact that we are now in a position to destroy everything should make this clear, that is, our responsibilities and our freedom....

Just as at the end of the Neolithic period, mankind evolved by inventing agriculture, the town, the state and writing, we are now again in a position for great and true evolution.

As a network of interactive communication which will soon cover most of humanity, cyberspace makes democracy at the level of the human race possible for the first time.
Not only is one planet-wide cyberdemocracy now possible, but it is becoming more and more necessary.

We need a legal and judicial system which is itself planetwide.
So far, cultural evolution has succeeded in outlawing slavery, proclaiming the rights of man, ensuring the notion of universal suffrage and has begun to ensure the equality of the sexes. But we have not yet attained all our goals. To our shame, we are still subject to war, to the fact that we incite hatred, sell weapons to each other and, ultimately, kill each other.

We need Peace.
Let us make it so.

Unrealistic. All nice in idea, but not in reality. Get with it. All this organization is in the end is a bunch of hackers trying to get a name for themselves. "All" is a nice idea. You're asking everyone to think exactly alike to your ideas. That will never happen in any sense or form. "All" will never think alike. Countries have different ideals. People have different backgrounds. Religions teach different values. There will never be a time where everyone in the world will sit down and say, "it is going to work like this," because everyone is a different individual with different thoughts. Nice hopeful ideal though

I'm not sure whether to "like" this because it advocates internet consensus and the will of the global people or "dislike" it because it advocates yet another form of global government via a "judicial" system. Wherever you have law you have force.  "Peace" and "order" are illusions created via coercion. There are two ways to get rid of an opponent: You can force them to comply through force of arms or you can use persuasion and come to a mutual understanding.

@icenfiyah Actually what this video is asking for is excatly the opposite of "asking everyone to think alike" but rather a call to be aware of your freedom of speech and thinking. Countries may have different ideals, but human rights are universal.
