Rejected from Dub Dig! Annie gets rejected from a prestigous private school and gets a glimpse of how her live may unfold. The sound is a little weird, I assure you the mix was better live. Also, the angle its shot at makes it a little hard to see in some places. But hey, that's theater!

Let me know what you think in comments.

  • Well, it is impressive. It certainly replicates the experience. I was moved. Technically speaking, some greater counterpoint between 'stay calm' and the chorus would really make this selection shine. Think 'You Can Do It' from The Producers.

Naturally, I'm only guessing at this result, and your musical is written excellently toward your skilled but not virtuoso performers. I really did like it.

  • Great criticism. Thank you. In revisions we've been adding a considerable aount of layering and counterpoint in several numbers.

  • i love these so much

  • thanks Julia : )

  • 'Cause she is awesome! "Got hooked on the Marijuana!" line got me laughing so hard!

But I could hear all the people (probably college kids) whooping at the "Virgil rocks my socks!" line, it's hilarious!

  • "Virgil really rocks my socks!!!!"

I LAUGHED so hard at his line! : )
