Quit 2 days ago after seeing my dad go to the hospital because he couldn't breathe. He has copd and dr says if he doesn't quit he'll need an oxygen tank and a trachea stint. I work in a clinic and I seen a lady come in with that and it literally scared the living crap out of me. I dont think I'll smoke again.

my mom is a heavy smoker. i live with her. i am a poor college student. i choose not to smoke, drink, or do drugs, and i follow her rules... yet... i still get as many health issues as she does because of her choices. I pray to God I don't get cancer one day. I did a public test of breathing lung capacity - smokers vs non smokers AND vs second hand smoke victims. The results- second hand smokers were almost or had same lung capacity, when non-smokers and non- second hand ppl had better results.
