To say the golden ration is found in several things in nature and therefor is proof of God is nonsense, and is the same sort of fractured reasoning that makes paranoid schizophrenics what they are. It's like saying green is a very common color in nature, and Sprite comes in green bottles, and money is green and the military wears green, so therefor the government is manipulating all vegetable matter on the planet and controlling our minds through Sprite via the green wavelength.

The problem with the golden ratio is just that: it's the golden ratio.. It is not observed in any of the instances you mentioned, it's consider the idea ratio for spirals.

It's derived from the Fibonacci equation: n = (n-1) + (n-2). The length of any 90 degree angle in a spiral should be the sum of the 180 degrees before it. Try measuring it with a snail shell, or a flower, or a strand of DNA (which is an awful example because it doesn't even spiral out, which is the very prerequisite)

Kudos to you if you can read Aramaic or Hebrew, but that does not change the fact that it does say there are specific measurements involved. NONE English bible that is around 2 thousand years old... very new if you take into consideration of how OLD our world really is when God created it.
