otario é quem acha estiloso os efeitos do W7 porque o kde 4.3 oferece efeitos muito mais elaborados e uma placa onboard roda sem nenhuma dificuldade, transparências etc, isso sem contar o fato de da imunidade a virus, estabilidade etc.

@cyberlord64 linux is not really that attractive to the average user, it requires a lot more tech skills to navigate than windows. Graphic drivers are developed primarily for windows by ATI & Nvidia, the graphics cards perform better in that platform. I am not saying Linux isnt capable of gaming, it most likely is a lot more capable than windows, but linux has no market for that. BTW on my pc win 7 ultimate runs faster than my fresh install of Ubuntu 11.04

@Gipshaw it doesn't! i have 3 laptops. I use linux mint on my HP6715s, Linux mint KDE dual booting with windows on my HPG62 (my main laptop) and puppy linux on my aspire one netbook. 90% of the time i use linux except when i need to play a game. Still it took me a lot of time to configure everything the way i want and getting ati chipsets to run properly is a pain in the a**! And it is probably the reason why people don't use linux. cause they don't have time (or the interest) to go through that

Eh, not anymore. Linux is now really easy to use. So don't let that stop you. And games run way better in Windows that in Linux on my PC, but that's probably because I have a crappy Intel Chipset. And you know how Intel is with Linux drivers...

Everything else is faster in Linux though, even Flash. Although recently in Chrome if I open 2 Youtube videos at the same time, Flash will crash. I dunno what's causing it.
