I had a rotweiler puppy he only lasted two weeks till he was bitten by a black widow. I miss him. I was only 7. One day i will get another Rottie.

I'm thinking this may be more responsible for the relatively high number of Rottweiler attacks than the dogs' temperament.

@brutish123 I totally agree with you there. I was friend's with a girl whose brother had a rottweiler who would always welcome me to the door and give the biggest kisses and sit on my lap until i left

Our Rottie was such a Mama's boy. He was 120lbs of pure goofiness. When my wife would come home, he would almost do the truffle shuffle..funniest damn thing you had ever seen, but would cower into a closet during a thunder storm LOL But if you tried to mess with mama or the baby..he was 120lbs of pure warrior! 3 of the greatest years of my life were because of that big goof ball. RIP Guinny, we all miss you terribly
