Larijani: Iran's Nuclear Case Could be Sent Back to IAEA.

Iran's top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani urged all sides in Iran's nuclear case to take "precise steps" to prevent adoption of a new resolution.
Speaking to reporters at Tehran Mehrabad International Airport upon his arrival from a seven-day visit to Europe on Tuesday night, the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Secretary Ali Larijani said, "The general atmosphere prevailing over settlement of Iran's nuclear case has become more rational."
During the talks in Madrid, he said, the two sides discussed ways to make use of current atmosphere and potentials and manage the situation in a way to move in a more logical direction.
He said Iran should also help materialize the wisdom.
Larijani termed as "acceptable" the current direction of Iran's peaceful nuclear dossier and said more time is needed to solve the issue.
Larijani held talks with EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana in Madrid, Spain, on May 31. The two sides decided to hold another meeting within the next two weeks.
In response to a question on the remaining issues between Iran and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Larijani said, "We had numerous issues with the agency which were settled gradually but added that minor issues still remain.
"These minor issues have remained because of the IAEA's political behavior. In fact, the agency has discredited itself by sending Iran's nuclear dossier to the UN Security Council," IRNA quoted him as saying.
Larijani stated that a political understanding can be reached with Solana to turn over Iran's case to the IAEA, "It is up to the agency how to settle the issues. The case has nothing to do with political issues," Iran's top nuclear negotiator noted.
Asked about impacts of Iran's cooperation with the IAEA on reducing the sanctions against the country, he said, "Iran's cooperation with the agency has nothing to do with resolutions. We are not interested to see any outstanding issues between Iran and the IAEA. We call for more IAEA supervision to resolve our issues."
