Well a transition isn't typically done while throwing rounds down range anyway...ie: when behind cover and transitioning to shoot around said cover... I understand what you're getting at, but at some point in time that hand has to come away from the trigger to transition... and with practice this only takes a couple seconds to do... and this isn't the ONLY way...it's just ONE way to transition.
