This time we take a look at the meat of this puppy, the 21, yes 21 runners of parts, plus the 2 photoetch sets, the rubber tires, the metal pins, the screws, the magnets... mother of god...

If you missed it, part 1 can be viewed here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBMsWECtk_Uhttp

No build up thread at this time, but keep watching Escalemodels for one coming soon

  • Good kit good luck with the build . looking forward to seeing this build develop. Thanks

  • excellent video mate!

  • @Mr77Magic Yeah this. The TamiyaTang is amazing! Japanese dedication to what they do shine through in this kit! _b

  • From what I understand the cowlings are not styrene as that would be too flimsy to hold up at that scale thickness. According to Tamiya they are another type of plastic, that will accept normal glue and paints for plastic models.

  • I just got this kit today. . .HOLY CRAP its incredible.

  • I have built all the f-4's from tamiya... excellent kits. my father was a master madeler and he built the f-15's !!! these are excellent kits and blow all others out of the water. My father past away exactly 1 month ago and i am going to build this for him normally i am a jet guy but this kit is insane. God bless and can you post a finished product and maybe some step by step build that would be great!!

  • Great review. Thanks for sharing.

  • Tamiya produce the best models. I have the Moebius 39 inch Seaview Sub. Just abount done with it, just got the propulsion system to go & give it a paint job, & that's me. Just been looking online to see what I fancy doing next? I have a 1/24 scale Airfix spitfire under my bed, I might do that, i've had that sitting for a while now. Not a fan of aircraft, I like alot of sci fi models. I find them more fun to do. That Mustang does look really nice.

  • Brilliant kit
