BEARS Race / Red Flag at Mid Ohio 2008

Fellow NYC racer Jon Blonk was filming my '68 Norton Seeley in the BEARS race at AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days at Mid Ohio on July 26, 2008. Earlier in the day someone's bike lost a fitting and oiled a good portion of the track, which made conditions treacherous all weekend. In this race it had just begun raining, making the already greasy surface feel like ice, and bikes began sliding off the track everywhere.
All in all there were 17 riders who fell between the BEARS class and the 500 Premier class which was also on the track at the same time. At about 18 seconds you can hear the telltale sound of a bike skidding off the track. The rider slid into an already fallen bike. Fortunately none of the 17 riders were seriously hurt.
