i remember this TV sitcom from the late 1960's-it was funny and i never knew that Eve Arden did another TV sitcom in the 1950's called "Our Miss Brooks"-by the way, i wasn't around yet in the 1950's, so i am not that old if this was wat u were thinking-lol.
The show landed in the top 40 during both seasons. NBC and Proctor and Gamble wanted Bill Cosby in 1969. They cancelled the series and put The Bill Cosby Show in The Mothers In Law time slot. It was NOT the flop reported.
Wow. What memories. I was just a little punk kid when this was on the air. Didnt even understand what a mother in law was..haha
