@Rhovanion85 War is the biggest motivator. So many advances in technology and medicine owe it's beginings to Military development. I'm not saying it's right, but in time, like everything else, we will see this technology common place in the civilian world. At least one can hope so...

It is kind of sad when you see how much money goes to killing other people, while a civilian without health insurence who lost a limb has got to pay thousands for a prosthetic leg which is still very far from this technology.
