  • If Rove is arrested for contempt of Congress, it might not be much, but perhaps just an inkling of hope that we are still a nation ruled by law.

  • Sadly, he's never going to do time for his crimes.

    The system is broken.

  • what a snake....

  • Go away, Porky the Pig. Go away.

  • Karl: "I, I, I read about, a, I'm gonna simply say what I've said before, which is, I found out about Don Siegelman's investigation and indictment by reading about it in the newspaper."

George: "But that is not a denial."

Karl: "Ah, a, I've I've, I've, a, ah, you know I read about a, I heard about it, read about it, learned about it for the first time by reading about it in the newspaper."

"YOU KNOW" is a clever qualifier. "...you know I ... learned about it for the first time..."

    NO denial!

  • wow, he was flopping around like a fish out of water when George called him out on the dodge.

  • Funny , that's the exact same thing Bush/Cheney said to the 911 commission.

How can "we the people" let them get away with this ?

    "OFF WITH THEIR HEADS"

....sorry , got carried away !

  • This shows how good rove is at dodging questions. He pulled several matrix-bullet dodges with his non-denial denials. That being said, I do think that the senate committee needs to do more digging on on its own independently instead of going directly to Rove and asking him to screw himself over as well as the President himself. Aside from all that this case is a good opportunity for the congress to reassert some powers that it has given up to the president like declaring prez privelige over it

  • "Hey, let's sit down and talk about this behind closed doors. I won't be under oath and no one can record the meeting with anything more than a pad and pen. Look, I've got nothing to hide, let's talk about this under my conditions..."

  • Rove you and your ugly yellow tie are going down.
