The IPCC does not have models. It is an inter-governmental PANEL of scientists who assess ALL climate change data available. THey do not generate models, nor do any research. They simply read all the papers and report.

THey do it for free. It is a lengthy and thorough process. If the data says something, that is what they report. The report has to be written by consensus.

So they point out the empirical data to people and governments who don't have time to read 10,000 papers every year.

It cooled from 1940 to 1979, so why would they start it at 1979, the end of a cooling period and beginning of a 30 yewar cooling period? That misrepresents the facts. I'm not saying it is intentional but does warp things. I would image it will cool for a lot more than 30 years based on past charts. More like several thousand years.
