The Federal Way Library kicked off its first ever Flavors of the World Cultural Fair on August 20, 2011. The festive day included live performances, interactive workshops, and spellbinding multicultural children's stories. Federal Way Mayor, Skip Priest, and chairwoman of the Federal Way Diversity Commission, Susan Honda, provided preambles to the celebration, and the four-hour event concluded with an open luncheon provided by Pacific Island Grill.
