hi all,

Religion is the most complicated matter to talk.

So we'd better not argue about it.

I'm a buddhist who wants no problem with any other religion because that's what Buddha wanted us to be. Why picking fights between religions?? huh?? To what extent do human beings can know, discover and visualize?? So far, we just know very little about the existance of all beings. We're not smart enough to argue about religions.

While most countries in the world spend less than 1 or 2% of their GDP on military. Burma spends 26% of its GDP on military budgets, more than any other country in the world by far. The so called leaders in Burma who previously stole power, need to release their political opposition from prison so they can speak their minds freely. Let a truly democratically elected government run Burma in a peaceful honest way. There is currently no election coming up only a planned scam by the military junta.

It takes a courageous person to be in a peaceful protest against injustice knowing it could be a death sentence. May we all know that strength someday. The world is not becoming a battle among nations so much as a battle against evil powers.

Everything is predetermined we have no real free will. Aliens from other worlds started these religions so as to control the illiterate/retarded masses as people can see.

There is really no difference between Christ and Buddha, it's basically the same story. They don't pray to buddha, they don;t pray to anyone, they chant to bring energy to themselves so they don;t depend on supernatural intervention. From my experiance, there are more devout Buddhists then christians.

I don't think this is about religion - it was probably a protest against the military regime:- its gripped the people of Burma with an iron fist whilst its top brass have made billions of dollars from the country's rich natural reserves. Meanwhile the people of Burma are trapped in extreme poverty and have no rights - they have been exploited for decades. Even a peacefull protest can trigger a violent crackdown by troops. No other countries will help them - no oil like Iraq I guess. Shame on us
