Yeah great musician, very underrated. All his songs are great, krea gata for example was amazing.
Does anyone know when his live CD is coming out ? I waited ages for this!!

great local player in the 80's ...(Boston)he really dug in cause i had'nt heard about him in at a decade ...and now this killer instrumental stuff!!!his live show is awesome -he just pulls ya in ...the man is very well versed with his own style -you go Johnny!

Johnny's guitar is a Gibson "Johnny A. " model...they cost over 5K new... He helped design the guitar to his specs...

I spent the better part of 68 listening to Jimmy Paige when.Led Zepplin played back to back with Jethro Tull in Miami) and later on to Jeff Beck all of whom are summed up in the control and clarity of this man by the last name of A. I had the extreme pleasure of seeing Johnny A play at Tupelo in Londonderry this week. I had never heard of this amazing guitarist . His music remains in my head and on the player and I can't leave the guy alone! Whew! It's still Hot in NH! Kathy
