i just bought one today, my power cord doesnt quite look like that,..its big yes buy its only one piece like a blackberry phone charger. continuing on watching this mine wasnt set up at all like this one which im using windows xp.

@BlueRedBlackSilver - You can do, but loading times will take a hit. If you want to store games or programs, an internal hard drive or something with USB 3 would be better.

I think my HD came with some trial backup software. I'm not sure how long it lasted though, or what it was.
