  • @gexxxi his flute just has better tone.

  • @4znhatred This is what happens when a composer writes for an instrument he doesn't play! My violinist used to complain about Beethoven's sonatas that were accessible, but awkward, always citing Mozart, who was equally comfortable with the violin as he was with the piano. Prokofiev worked with Rostropovitch writing for the cello but I don't think he had a specific flautist in mind for performing and consulting.
