Thanks for posting this. I always knew that the highter education was overvalued. After watching it I decided not to go for a PhD but to move to the village instead! Hopefully, they'll give me some valuable re-education there.

this is a cool movie. i like how it mocks the elite university students, as well as pre-Cultural Revolution era bureaucrats "taking the capitalist road."
