In a speech on the House floor this morning, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) blasted Democratic leaders efforts to censor a chart that illustrates the bureaucratic labyrinth that would result for American health care with enactment of Washington Democrats proposed trillion-dollar government takeover of health care. Democratic leaders have attempted to block Members of Congress from using the chart, produced by Rep. Kevin Brady (R-TX) and the House Republican professional staff of the Joint Economic Committee (JEC), in official communications with their constituents. • I fully expect multiple states to push the tenth amendment issue in a backlash to this far left Democrat controlled government. It's something America needs to do to reign in a wildly out of control government as predicted by the founding fathers.

  • Ugh all this serious government stuff... all I can think about is... BOEHNER! HAHAHAHA lol im kidding im gonna get trolled for this shit

  • On September 18, 2008, Congressman Boehner attended a closed meeting with congressional leaders, then-Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke, and was urged to craft legislation to help financially troubled banks. That same day (trade effective the next day), Congressman Boehner cashed out of an equity mutual fund.[17]

  • In June 1995, Boehner provoked contentions of unethical conduct when he distributed campaign contributions from tobacco industry lobbyists on the House floor as House members were weighing how to vote on tobacco subsidies.[15] Boehner eventually led the effort to change House rules and prohibit campaign contributions from being distributed on the House floor.[16]

  • Whoah, watch the homophobic language you silly liberal bigot.

  • The best option is for the government to get out of the health care service portion and lean more towards helping foster competition. How can they do this? Easy, focus more on increasing government grants for would be medical students. This would create more doctors/specialist competition and they wouldn't have that $150,000 plus student loan that they are relying on patients to pay.

  • Creating a new plans to replace these failing ones will only put a bandaid on the systems. The old systems will have to carry their debts over, while inflation causes the price of services rendered to increase. Therefore the new systems will already be to far behind in the power curve to provide any lasting benefits. The only way to pay for all of this would be through a very heavy tax, and honestly I don't believe this would even be enough to keep them afloat.

  • I'm not going to point fingers at any one political party because they're all the same. Lets take into account that medicaid / medicare / social security are all government funded social programs used to help curve economic pressure for persons with limited income or no income. They don't seem to be working to well. Taxes (funding) have gone down and cost have gone up. Cost will continue to rise because of the inflation of money (over printing cash).
