  • God, I'm so tired of egyptians dubbing cartoons in their local accents (with horribly written song lyrics) an calling it "arabic". It's unfair to the rest of the arabic world

  • @fto2006 WELL, Its true that if it was in fusha (ancient/true arabic) it would be better. but egyption arabic is also good enuf.. it a funny accent thats go well with these cartoons

  • ههههههههه يضحك

  • @fto2006 will Egypt is the only arab country thet buys disney movies and films to dub so thet's why all disney movies only in egyptian accent so if u dont like it dont watch the movie in arabic or just go ask your country to make your own dubb okay :) peace

  • @fto2006 well i guess it's a matter of taste then..

  • @combobasha And yes fus7a is more difficult to translate to, but if it's done well, the result is much more rewarding. I think you should try to watch some of the movies that Venus has dubbed in fus7a, for example The monster house or Anastasia, and you'll find that they are just as funny (and sometimes funnier) than the original and the song lyrics are incredibly well written

  • @combobasha So instead of uniting and taking pride in the language that we all share (which is much better than any of the gramma-less, vocabulary-poor dialects) we choose to take even further distance from our common language and thus from each other?

  • @fto2006 well i think it would atleast be funnier in the egyptian, or any body else's language

in that case, each country should translate it on their own, right?

i mean, in traditional arabic it won't be as funny as the common arabic.

question, which one of the following would be funnier

    - sandawich gamed geddan ya sa7by

    or

    - shater wa mashtoor wa ma baynahoma tazaj / shateera, ra2e3a ya sadeeqy

    you decide

  • @combobasha That is exactly our problem. We think our kids are dum. Well, they're not. I know kids that can understand more fus7a vocabulary than I do. And Egyptian is not the easiest to understand if you ask, say, Morrocans. But some people can't see the world from another perspective than their own

  • @fto2006 haters gonna hate :D

first of, i think its that way, cuz formal arabic "traditional arabic" is hard to understand by kids, and 2nd, it's that the Egyptian accent is the easiest anyone could understand. 3rd, Lebanese dubbing is even worse...just saying

  • I agree only the Egyptian accent is stupid enough for such cartoons
