U r supposed to continue on skating, not stopping, cuz the injured person needs air. Don't crowd around them, it would freak the injured person out too much. Ur NEVER supposed to crowd around someone when they fall while skating. Never.

The guards at the place i skate at tell you to continue skating but to go around the person. basically redirecting traffic away from the accident.

You guys have no idea how people react in Slough things like that. If they fall like that, everyone has to get straight off the ice immediatly. It's not that special to film, we get things like it all the time. And theirs not any blood, and if their is then it's extremely rare.

At my rink if someone falls ignore it. If someone gets hurt without blood ignore it the coach will handle it. Normally the person exits. If someone is injured that requires an ambulance, we are to exit the ice and let the coaches and paramedics handle it.

Right....I had a pretty nasty fall, I was trying a simple move that I had done a thousand times before (Forward spiral) and something went wrong and I cracked my head on the ice, It wasn't that bad, I skated after that but only about 5 people out of 50 came to see if I was alright but 5 is fine by me, I would've hated the whole of the skaters crowded round me...
