Click the [3D] button (Bottom Right corner) to select your 3D System to use with this video.
This experimental video is a brief run through the Melbourne SupaNova 2010 Pop Culture Convention on 18 April 2010.
No 3D glasses required; Just use the Famous Cross eyed method : See this tutorial: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvShotHl1As
You can also use Red/blue glasses, or if you have 3DTV/3D monitors, use Alpha Interleve, etc..as stated in the video controls. if you have nVidia 3D, download the video, or wait for youtube to integrate it in :), or Just watch it in 2D (select either a left or right channel)
Warning: This video may cause dizziness due to 1) a broken tripod's base stabilizer. 2) fast forwarding.
Contents:
1. A few up close shots of some cos-players at various points in the video. (taken with permission to test the 3D effect including a Na'vi from Avatar 3D)
2. A few dizzy minutes in the Exhibitors hall
3. A few minutes in the Events + Cos-play hall
4. A few seconds in the Cafeteria
5. A few seconds in the Quiz room
6. About a minute outside.
7. some 3D photos at the end.
I had to leave a lot of scenes out due to the YouTube time limit.
I apologize i was not able to fully cover all of SupaNova.
Many of the Hollywood super stars there also didn't want to be filmed at all.
WORLD'S EASIEST CROSS EYE METHOD: www.youtube.com/watch?v=cvShotHl1As
METHOD 2:
1. Position yourself in the centre of the 2 images
2. Try looking at an imaginary invisible butterfly sitting on your nose .
3. doing so will make your eyes 'Line of Sight' cross like an X and you will get double vision of the world in front of you.
4. Do this while viewing this video in cross eye mode and you will see 4 images (2 x 2) .
5. of these 4 images, get the two INNERMOST images you see merge together at the centre. The centre image will appear in 3D ( ignore the 2 remaining ghost images at the side, or block them out with your hands.)
Takes some practice, but its Free, Full colour and works very well.
Enjoy
BGM Song: l see you (from avatar)
My next video will be better and more smooth as i'll be recording with a proper Digital, Full HD 3D system

Looks like the parallel view and cross-eyed view are actually the wrong way around.
I've tried a Loreo parallel viewer which sort-of works if i select cross-eyed, but not very well... but doesn't work at all if I select parallel. And Green-Magenta glasses which work some of the time, but the 3d fades in and out. It's pretty hard to watch with all that camera movement.

@StopmoNick hehe that depends. I checked the cross eye is okay, maybe the codec is buggy with youtube at the moment.
This was my very first video, i actually expected to fail badly with it, but it worked out okay.. my next 3D video will be very well done :) The image stabilizer and tripod were broken. hahaha
