After 5 months long of gruesome singing competition, Jess Lee Jia Wei (李佳薇), the 22 years old lass from Seremban, Malaysia finally emerged as the champion of Super Star Avenue Season 7 (超級星光大道 -第七届). She became the first contestant in the Taiwan singing competition history to gain 30 full points from the judges four times in a row. What an achievement!

By winning the competition, Li Jia Wei automatically gains a contract with Warner Music to produce an album as well as TWD 1,000,000 in cash, which is the best New Year gift for her. Being crowned the champion, she gave a thank you speech by saying that she is grateful to her family members and her singing teacher of 14 years for flying all the way to Taipei to give her full support in the finals.

In the second round of the finals, she sang Beyonce's "Listen" to acknowledge the support given to her by Malaysian fans. On stage, she said in Malay: "Terima kasih (Thank you), saya akan membuat terbaik (I will do my best), Jia Wei boleh, Malaysia boleh!" (boleh=can)

第7届超级星光大道昨晚（30日）在Astro电视直播后，Facebook和Twitter抢先报捷，李佳薇（Jess Lee ）夺冠消息传遍了全马，迅速成为社交网络上爆红的名字。
李佳薇还破了星光纪录，连续满分4次！许多网友兴奋不已，纷纷在社交网上发表祝贺感言，赞扬她为国争光。
在上周日（23日）由陶晶莹主持的"星光7"准决赛里，8名选手当中，李佳薇和陈珂冰为两名晋级的大马选手，她们联同孙晓亮、白潮洛蒙、Erika刘艾立及舞思爱顺利晋入­昨日举行的总决赛。
准决赛当晚，来自芙蓉的"铁肺女王"李佳薇积分排名第一，第一回合选唱张惠妹的《勇敢》，赢得全场最高的30分满分，她的总分数为112分。
在昨晚总决赛中，超完美的表演除了为她赚尽评审黄韵玲的眼泪之外，也为大马抱走了星光7年来的第一个冠军。
而来自沙巴斗湖的陈珂冰，前集积分落在最低93分，在总决赛第一阶段演唱的《不顾一切》夺得23分，未能拉高分数晋级三甲，屈居第6。
