@willemstockton I know the answer to both of your questions.

@SNESpguy Because my brother had so many cars he did not have room store all of them inside
-
@Poopingbotham The other two were Wanderer and DKW.
Wanderer is long forgotten. They produced middle class "bread and butter" cars.
DKW specialized on two-stroke motorcycles and cheap two-stroke cars. Actually it was DKW that kept the tradition of motor manufacture in the East and West after 1945. The DKW 3-6 and later 1000s looked very much like their Eastern cousins F 8 export and F 9 version , all of them were based on a 1940 design that never went into production because of the war.

If that old man knew the car's significance in the 1980s, then why the HELL did he leave it outside for 30 more years?
-
I like the way he put it in a barn when he found out that it was rare!!
-
So who were the other two manufactures that made up Auto Union?
-
I wonder how much they paid him for it?
-
Hork or Horsh ...Horsh, I believe,at least that is how owners of them pronounce it..It looks like one of those ugly old BMW's of the early 50's .
-
He must not of cared too much for it, look where he left it for over 40 years..
I think Audi should build a car dedicated to that Horch

Great video! Great story! That Horch reminds me of the Mercedes 300 "Adenauer" sedans.
