I decided to make this separate since it was lost in a big video. This is the typical transcontinental lunch served on Continental Airlines in First Class. This was taken on a Continental Airlines 777-200ER with BusinessFirst cabin. Even though this is the BusinessFirst Cabin the service is First Class because it is a domestic flight. Still Continental provided exceptional service. I started of with a Mimosa and warm almonds, followed by a salad with chicken and shrimp, with a main course of steak, spinach, cornbread, and finished off with an ice cream sundae with all the toppings. I have to say of everything I have eaten on Continental Airlines the ice cream sundae is my favorite. This was from EWR to SEA. I find Continental to have the best First Class service domestically!

  • y did u have 3 forks?lol

  • @megastardreamer For the different dishes. You get three forks, a knife and a spoon.

  • is that steak? :) looks yummy

  • @jetsonic69 Yes it is. And it was very good!!!

  • Great food. It looks really good. I hope that when the merger finalizes, United ditches it current caterer and uses CO's caterer. CO's food is just head & shoulders above UA's.

  • @sfflyer123 I agree, for years now CO catering has been better than other US airlines. CO owns their own catering company Chelsea. Chelsea is now part of the new United and will be taking over more of PMUA catering.

  • Fantastic Four?

  • i would love to have that steak in economy

  • Last time I flew was on United First Class from Columbus to Las Vegas, with a stop in Chicago. The food service was very disappointing. Breakfast on the way out was cold in spots. I expected better. If my meals were as good as what I saw there, I would have no complaints.

  • Looks very good lol :D not that airline food is all that great but some airlines have really gone far and beyond in order to satisfy their customers.

  • plates are ugly LOL foor is not that good i guess

  • @020808 Yes, that will be excellent. They really need to can UA's caterer. I think UA's caterer single-handedly just really brought down UA's reputation. Overall, UA is a very good airline, and now with the lie-flat business class seats, it's a good product. It's the food that people have complained about as just a sub-par business. Hopefully, CO's caterer will come in and really shape things up.
