would be nice if companies that sell junk food are required to label their products with warnings, make anti-obesity ads, and pay the National Public Education Fund out of a portion of their profits much like tobacco companies are required to make anti-smoking campaigns ... that's the only real hope to increase large-scale awareness and improve nutrition education. can obama make this happen?

@SouthwesternEagle Yea I hate the those commercials that that try to tell that it's "fine in moderation". It was the biggest BS I ever heard in my life. Why can't we all just drink bottled water that's bottled in shatter-proof glass?

@groundhog2008 10 billion over 10 years.

Michelle Obama, why don't shape up that Battleship sized @ss of yours before you give the rest of the world diet advice. No matter how loose a clothing you wear, you cannot hide that big phat ugly Buffalo butt of yours.

Where is the money to back this up?? Last I heard, it will take billions to get this up and running like it should!!

Kids and too many parents alike are too fat from fast food and just eating out too much period! Solution, google "get snack healthy Harry" and please refer a friend! Let's start showing kids how to eat right for a change starting the new year off right. Hal2012

@YouKidsNever Well there is also the CRTC3 gene, which is responsible for the development of fat cells. The more potent the gene, the more sensitive the body is to diet. HFCS plays that gene like a violin though. If you don't believe me,, drink a soda a day for the next year and then get back to me with the results.

@westplayer03 That's very true!
Wow, it's already been 10 months since that comment o.O

@SouthwesternEagle no its not that, its mostly the poor eating choices and the lack of workingout
I have an idea. STOP USING HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP to sweeten sodas! That's what causes obesity.
