A more visual tutorial of how to do a RV session, after some of you guys requested it.

Hope it answers a few more questions, and also shows you enough to get you started in your own practice. The practice site used was, as always

http://dojopsi.com/tkr

Accounts are free to make and use with no limitations.

This particular session isn't that important, but for those curious about the images involved, here is the castle I opened initially,

http://i38.tinypic.com/9abj15.jpg

...and here is the main session target:

http://i34.tinypic.com/35i0pwl.jpg

I found the target out when you guys did, after making my session and writing End. That's how the site works. Once you see the target, you can no longer upload or add anything to the session (only as afternotes, which of course do not count).

Please ask any questions or leave your thoughts.

I for one thought the session went OK given the circumstances, and probably would have been good enough to use in ARV. Had the target been a chicken or some galaxy, this session would of course not fit at all, and would be considered 100% off. As it is, some elements were quite decent. Not perfect, but decent (stone, wall, bricks, castle, medieval)

  • thank you for this. i was looking for a website like that

  • @prguyy Always happy to see people interested in RV :)

I recommend those daily G-15 sessions on dojopsi, that's always my best motivator when I login for practice. There's a handful of people there who have been doing daily sessions for years now, and the kind of detail they give is simply mindblowing.

Also when you yourself have sessions chosen for the G-15 gallery, that's an awesome feeling :)

  • Wow, very cool. I joined the site, going to mess around with it a little myself. How long have you been dabbling in RV?

  • @ProbablyACircle Several years now, but very on and off. Not cause it doesn't work or anything like that, it's just the same way I get bored with any one sport or hobby after a while. The good ones I keep coming back to though :)

So enjoy the learning process, I found it quite revealing about humans in general, the way our minds and bodies work. Alsi I dig how it's both nerdy theory AND actual kung-fu like, hands-on practice.

  • Hi I'm new to RVing and don't really know how to do it or get started with it. Most of the tutorials you have to pay for which I just can't do. Can you lead me to a free tutorial or something? Thanks :D

  • @baseball4355 Sure, please check my other videos, there are 5-6 of them that deal with RV, and all of the resources and places I have in the descriptions are completely free.

I know it may sound like a lot of videos to watch and links to check out, but please consider I took way more time to bring these things to anyone interested, and they are the very shortest and most efficient ways I found, for learning.

    Happy RV'ing :)

  • @ytgetter8758 There are some exceptions of wannabe teachers who to stay away from. Perhaps if I build a website to institute them all, call it Vin-Tech Institute.

  • @firuinthehouse i picked up the dvds from learnrv.com but i don't seem to be doing as well on dojopsi. do you think this is something i eventually will get down if i keep at it?

  • @ytgetter8758 That is if you plan on surviving. Many pros don't plan on it survival and won't try. Many others don't have sanctuaries and Ed can't help that as he has ran it for them. The timeline methods are null. Chronos is still being time tested. One other reason you've forgotten why students teach RV is that teaching also teaches the RVer. TRV University on the other hand are trying to drum up business or whatever. That's correct.

  • @palecapulet Pael, are trying to drum up business. You know there is no point unless you are trying to pay the rent for the next 20 months. You know the Killshot timing has been discovered with Chronos. Even the Farsight Institute with their CRV know that it's all hitting the fan in 2013. They even checked out two timelines. You'll be needing that business card to start a fire to stay warm soon.

  • @ytgetter8758 Don't count TRV as anything compared to LRV because it's changed. TRV University now teaches the almost exact same as CRV, more like a branch of CRV than any relation to LRV.

  • @firuinthehouse The reason why Ed is disliked is because people are negative toward is predictions. He's also disliked because people think he's in only for the money. But how true can that be when learning CRV costs much much more? We're talkin $6k to learn CRV.

RV you learn online and for free are free because it doesn't worth anything except for recreational means. When paid students learn RV, they're being trained to use it for real world problem solving, in the smaller amount of time.
