Song perfromed by the 80's alternative English rock band, the Vapors.
"Johnny's in Love Again" off their 1981 LP, "Magnets". Lyrics by David Fenton. I'm not exactly sure who they are singing about, but seeing how this song came out in 1981 and it's about an assassin named Johnny, I always pictured the assination attempt on U.S. President, Ronald Reagan by the sociopath, John Hinkley, who was infatuated with actress, Jodie Foster.

Magnets is a pretty bloody bleak album lyrically. This is probably why its one of my all time favourite albums. I think there is certainly overtones of the reagan assassination in this song. Magnets is also about a presidential assassination so it would link thematically.

One of the Vapors' best songs, with a well-executed (pardon the pun) video accompaniment.
