Is that gun breaking the sound barrier/ Kind of sound like it and wouldn't suprise me with an FAC, .177 atleast.

@netmangaffer No , the are 18 Gr. .22 ( A little over 900 fps) but the cam is about 3 feets from the rifle .

Ar they clean kills? Quite a few look like they are trying to fly off. The first shot looked like the pigeon head was bobbing around.

@2004N1ck They all die fast . One ended about 100 meters in the field before dieing the other one no more than 10 meters from where I shot them .The was all betwen 30 and 80 meters and some 5 meters high some 30 meters high with a fair wind that day ......pretty hard to do ead shot .I do some time use dead one as decoy and set myself about 30 meters on a shooting table in a barn so they don't see me.....head shot everytime.....

didnt realise you were in canada m8, silencers are illegal there? do you need a licence for FAC air rifles then?

@whirlywizz Yes we do need a PAL (possession acquisition license) just like a real rifle or shotgun. Without The PAL all you can get is a sub 500 FPS rifle ( about 4.4 ft/lbs with a 8 gr pellet) . I know they can get special permit for silencer in USA but I am not sure in Canada , I will have to check with the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police) about it .

I use an air rifle 4 hunting but i shoot things in the kill zones u r a rubbish shot and those pigeons die painfuly.

Pigeons often bob and flap about when shot in the head, it's just the nerves.

@kermit150261 Why do not you get one of those air guns with shrouded barrels called bull barrel. I do not want to make any suggestions or advertisements for any particular air gun but usually the .177 is the most silent as long as you are not using one of them gold/platinum plated pellets that break the sound barrier.
