Soooo... because he was very critical, but didn't absolutely crucify Bush, he's suffering from Bush love derangement? This is why the rest of us in the world have such difficulty understanding Americans - it's as if you necessarily dichotomize everything to the extreme. Perhaps that's just the logical result of a two-party system? I watched this same clip with my Canadian eyes, and I didn't see any love derangement at all - criticism with a side of respect, yes. Derangement, no.

I'd say saying he's kept us safe from another terrorist attack when that's not true, respects every life when he's caused over a million dead and millions displaced in Iraq and praising him after the damage he's done to this country is deranged. Of course anyone is free to disagree but that's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. Halperin has been one of the biggest Bush apologists in our sorry excuse for a media here for some time now so this is nothing new for him.

2 points. 1.) If a leader is gonna be making decisions from his "gut" then that gut needs to filled with military experience. Bush is not a military man. Never was, no matter how many times they use soldiers as his backdrop for speeches 2.)Even the biggest supporters of Bush cant deny that the list of failures is greater that the achievments at this point. Ill give him credit for AIDS in Africa but u still have 7 min. of sitting on 9/11, no Bin Laden found, Katrina, Abu Grab, the ECONOMY!!!
