Even though the Sox didn't win the World Series, it was still a great year. 2008 had all the drama you can ask for. Blowing a division lead late, but beating Detroit and Minnesota for the playoff games. The "Blackout" and one last run for Griffey Jr. Looking back 3 years later, I enjoyed that season as much as the World Series, even without the ring...

is neone else getting extremely frustrated with the white sox' absolutely pitiful play through the first two weeks of the season? i know i am. they better get it into gear quickly. i'm tired of hearing that there's still so much time left in the season. there is, obviously, but i want to win NOW

goochbag15: Isn't that what they said about 2005 now huh? Giving up already? That's what a lot of analysts did in 2005, yet what happened? The team doesn't need luck, it needs SMARTBALL to return, and that's what this team is built around.

GREAT VID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sox dont have that great of a leadoff hitter. Hes not that big of an upgrade over pods. Hes have an average arm and above average LF. Their best pitcher possibly in peavy is prone to the DL. Wake up everyone. This team needs to get REALLY lucky this year.

i cannot wait for 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i stand by my statement made earlier. the white sox are going to be one of the best teams in the american league. especially with that incredible pitching staff, and wit a legit leadoff hitter, its going to be a lot of fun on the southside next year.

they need a bull pen

man 2009 was pretty dissapointing but i sure hope Rios can help out next year, Dye will probably be gone, and im sure the sox will finish adove 500 in 2010,and everyone who is saying its Ozzie's fault its not Williams and Ozzie are great in management, they just need better starting pitching and more hitting

When I saw this video for the first time at the Blackout Game against Minnesota for the Division Championship, I'm not going to lie, it really put me to tears. It has a fantastic representation of the never say die mentality. Everything leading up to that one moment.
