I DO NOT OWN ANY OF THESE SONGS, THEY ARE OWNED BY METAL BLADE. I am simply posting these to raise awareness of a criminally underrated band that deserves more fans, so don't sue me or anything!
@privatepilot111 That's odd. I guess I'm just weird. But Black Umbrella is quite possibly my favorite album of... dare I say, all time? And I absolutely love the drums on the album. I like the raw, "live" sound... they have an intensity that a lot of bands lack today... everything is so overproduced and engineered in ProTools.
"drumming"...the drumming was drunk. We had a saying in Kalamazoo amongst the percussion pals..."Friends don't let friends drum drunk". I'll Post some TABLE. if you are interested in sober playing. It was Mike Roche and I in a prog rock funstravaganza.
@superzapperrecharge This is too fun...thanks for the Kudos. I just steered some friends in Alaska onto this...the drums on the album suck...but the sound Mike was able to get from a room and only a few mics...I'm proud of the sound, and proud that I didn't make Metal Balde too much money.
The drumming on this album is awesome! Very powerful and roomy
